The Ben The Broker campaign is a strategic, multi-channel initiative aimed at raising awareness of the crucial role insurance brokers play in helping businesses build resilience and grow. With targeted media placements across TV, radio, podcasts and online platforms, the campaign reaches over 30 million adults nationwide, focusing on entrepreneurs and the wider business community aged 21-45.
Ben is the friendly, approachable face of BIBA’s campaign, a fictional yet relatable character symbolising the expert, trusted insurance brokers in BIBA’s network. Designed to humanise and simplify the complex world of insurance, Ben helps SMEs and entrepreneurs see the value of using brokers to get the right cover for their business and budget.
I was responsible for the creative character design and full TV animation production of two distinct stories featuring Ben, along with business owners Jen and Sam. Working closely with the marketing and production teams, I translated the campaign’s strategic messaging and script into engaging, relatable animated narratives that bring the value of insurance brokers to life.
From initial concept sketches to polished TV animation ready for broadcast and streaming, this project was a rewarding experience that showcased the power of animation in amplifying brand stories across diverse media channels.
