I’m a freelance graphic designer and mum of two based in West Malling in Kent, specialising in strategic brand identity and animation. Strategy is the bit I care about most. I don’t see it as a separate stage, it’s what holds everything together. When the strategy is right, design stops just being visual and starts communicating something that actually connects with the right people in the right way. I work with a mix of businesses, from independent founders to larger organisations, helping shape brand identities, visual systems and motion that feel intentional, consistent and built with purpose. For me, it always comes back to understanding the why behind a business. What is it really trying to say, and who is it trying to reach? Once that’s clear, everything else becomes more focused and more powerful. I’m collaborative by nature and like to keep things human throughout the process. I’ve built great relationships with my clients and genuinely value that side of the work. I ask questions, challenge ideas when needed and make sure we’re always moving in a direction that feels right for where the business is going, not just where it is now.
